Online Shopping sites are increasing day by day. Started with Indiaplaza - India's first online shopping site, the list is now 500+ and is increasing very quickly.
Some of the best sites known to us are - Amazon, Flipkart, Homeshop18, Snapdeal , Myntra, Jabong etc.
All these sites are very reliable to shop and returns and refunds here are very hassle-free in case the item is defected or some other problem especially flipkart and amazon top in this category.
However as the online e-commerce in India is triggering, there are few startups which are cheating people and just want to promote their website by selling at unexpected low prices and then not shipping the item. Also they then don't refund your money in your bank account for months or simply put your money in your account in website as "Credits". You should always avoid these type of websites.
However ths does not mean that you should stop online shopping because of fear. As i already told - Websites like flipkart and amazon are too good to shop at. Try them if you haven't started online shopping yet. I bet you will stop offline shopping then.
So now the websites you should stop shopping on -
1. 100bestbuy - This is no.1 site in our list of sites never to shop from. They never ship the products. Never invest here even if comes a flat 100 Rs offer and you think ok lets buy some items of Rs 110-115 then you will be wasting your Rs 10-15 Rs. One more thing - They sometimes call saying that you won this and that and ask you to pay just shipping and convenience charges but that is all fake. Ignore them.
2. AskmeBazaar - This website is being promoted even on TV but it is one of the worst websites we have experienced. They will tell you that the item has been shipped but provide no tracking details and you will never get the item. Avoid this site. They are just doing it for their promotion and to get hits on their website.
3. Paisalive - Don't waste time on this site thinking you will really earn money. You never will, they will just cheat you. Beware !! You will surely get some money in your pasialive account but when you will try to redeem it, it will fail and then the customer care will provide you stupid reasons and your balance will be deducted.
Sites which sell poor and duplicate products
Above were the sites which simply cheat and do not ship the items at all but there are also some sites which ship the items but fake, defective etc.
1. Kaunsa - Beware of this site. It selles defective, duplicate products as far as from our experience.
2. Bagittoday - Say strict 'No' to this site. Even if you get 60% off, don't go for it. Cheap and duplicate products sold here.
Others
1. Shopclues - Shopclues is not too bad like above sites. They sell duplicate products not all however. Some products are fake. However our advice is that never buy worth Rs 1000+ from this site. If some item is being sold for Rs 20 which is 100 on other sites, go for it as sometimes items are genuine too. But never invest too much here.
2. Paytm - This site is not fake at all infact very very good and many good offers and cashback are provided here. This site dealt only with recharges and bus tickets firstly but recently they started online shopping too and provided irresistible offers. However the site is mostly seller controlled and customer service is not that good as they operate only through mail. However you can use social media to get your problem resolved.
So there are many sellers - Some excellent and some fake. See the list here and shop hassle free .
